The dryness and acidity linger nicely on the tongue especially without food. On the medium length finish the wine displays some bright vibrant acidity, some tannins and some mild herbal notes. From the winery: Made from a blend of grapes grown predominantly in Sonoma County and Lake County, the inaugural vintage of our William Hill Estate North. On the mid palate there’s some black cherry to match the nose along with some dark chocolate notes. Drink now or cellar for five to 10 years. The grapes grown on the southern slopes of Napa Valleys Silverado Bench. William Hill (2013) was aged 21 months in oak barrels. Dark in color with a nice black cherry nose. Ripe black fruit and smoke are the hallmarks of this Cabernet Sauvignon from the Napa Valley. ![]()
